Today, I went on a police ridealong. (Oh, you didn't know, but I'm in a Student Police Academy... for shits and giggles, mostly.)

It was mostly boring. We did get to pull over a redneck with confed. flags on his car, and bust him for expired plate and made him get towed, so that was fun.

I was amused how the officer exceeded the speed limit often, forgot to signal a few times (something we had actually had a conversation about being a problem nowadays), and rarely wore his seatbelt (only putting it on when the car's repeated beeping about the subject annoyed him enough).

Also, he had a GBA with him, with Driver 2 in it. Guess he likes to take a break from driving a police car by playing a game where he drives a getaway car. :P

But he was nice guy overall, and it was fun talking with him.

Oh man, this stinks... why am I not posting more? I'm really sorry about that, I'm just that way, I guess... get distracted and don't do things I'm supposed to.

Well, I'm still working at the supermarket as a janitor. (In fact, even more hours than before since the full-time guy got deported. No joke.) Again, pay is good, but... well, the pay is good.

I wasn't able to get the job at the local theatre (they were full up, but I was told by a friend who works there to keep trying...), and even though a friend's father is a friend of the owner of the local KB Toys, and even though he apaprently put in a good word for me at the behest of the friend of mine, I still haven't heard back from them. Damn.

I also haven't been doing my homework. I know I need to do it, I just... I don't know, there may seriously be something wrong with me, because I just can't seem to bring myself to do it.

Hopefully, I'll actually have my driver's license soon. It's so sad that I still don't, but since Driver's Ed means somewhat lower insurnace, it's probably going to be worth the wait, monitarily.
